Dr. Matthew Harris, M.D., FAAP, is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been practicing general pediatrics in Southern California since 2018, and joined Coastal Kids in 2020. 

He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York, where he excelled and was appointed as Chief Resident by his peers during his final year. He graduated medical school with honors from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines, after completing his Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. Dr. Harris is experienced in outpatient and inpatient care. 

Dr. Harris is originally from Central California, where he was involved in multiple sports and back country hiking. In his free time, he continues to enjoy the great outdoors and spending time with his wife, son and black lab.
