Kena Gunter, Nurse Practitioner
Kena Gunter is a national Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She attended Loma Linda University for her undergraduate courses and completed her Master’s degree at Simmon’s University, graduating with honors. She has worked in pediatrics since 2013, primarily working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at both Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange (CHOC).
She has been married to her husband Korey since 2019. Together they have a daughter named Kinley. Kena loves to spend her time with family and two golden retrievers. On her days off, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time walking or hiking, and being at the beach.
She is committed to high quality patient care, listening to patients and their families’ concerns, and helping her patients feel supported.
