Jennifer Alcantar, M.D. attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology, and went on to receive her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She moved back to California to complete residency training in pediatrics at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Alcantar enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families. Her priority is to create a partnership with the shared goal of keeping their child happy and healthy. Her special interests include newborn and infant care, early childhood development, and pediatric preventive care. In her spare time, she enjoys trying out new recipes, playing tennis, and hiking with her husband.
