Dr. Lydia Chapelsky, M.D.
Lydia Chapelsky MD, originally from Michigan, graduated from the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. She completed her pediatric residency training at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio. She practiced pediatrics in Michigan for 5 years before moving to southern California to join her husband in 1993. She has practiced pediatrics in Orange County since then. Over the years she participated in several volunteer medical missions in Ukraine. She and her husband adopted 2 children from Ukraine in 2000.
Dr. Chapelsky lives with her husband and 2 children in San Juan Capistrano. Her interests include reading, gardening, painting, hiking, yoga, and skiing.
