Dominga Hearons, FNP-C

Dominga Hearons, FNP-C was born and raised in California’s Central Valley, where her passion for healthcare and pediatrics were shaped by personal experiences. When her middle child was born with clubfoot and required long-term medical treatment, it deeply inspired her to pursue a career in nursing.

She earned my Associate of Science in Nursing from San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) and spent eight years working as a registered nurse, primarily serving rural communities throughout the Bakersfield area. During that time, she saw firsthand the shortage of Spanish-speaking healthcare providers in our region. This need motivated her to advance my education and expand her ability to serve.

Dominga obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Purdue Global University. Since 2021, she has been proud to serve children and families at Coastal Kids – Riverwalk, where she provides comprehensive care including preventive health services, well-child visits, and management of both acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

She is family-oriented, a proud mother of three, and married to her loving husband. In her free time, she enjoys cooking authentic Mexican cuisine, attending her children’s sporting events, traveling, fishing, and hiking.
