Brandon Magno, MSN, FNP-BC
Brandon Magno joined Coastal Kids – Southwest, formerly Southwest Pediatrics, in 2024 as a Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing from Emory University, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He has a particular interest in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, preventive care, and is committed to providing evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each child.
Brandon was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating, he taught as a middle school math teacher and received his Master of Arts, Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. With a strong background in the education and healthcare spheres, Brandon actively promoted both the health and emotional well-being of children.
In addition, Brandon is passionate about educating parents/caregivers, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their children’s health. He believes in building strong, lasting relationships with families, promoting open communication and collaboration for optimal care. His goal is to ensure every child receives not only the best medical care, but also the emotional and mental support they need to thrive as well.
When not at work, Brandon enjoys spending time with family/friends, running, and committed to community involvement and ongoing professional development. Brandon is excited to work with your family to provide exceptional, individualized pediatric care that supports the health and happiness of your child.
