Amanda Salter M.D., FAAP, is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been practicing pediatrics in California since 2008.
She started her career delivering babies with a local midwife practice. She worked extensively in healthcare before attending a post-baccalaureate program at Georgetown University, and then continuing on to medical school at Georgetown School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her residency training at Childrens’ Hospital Oakland with special interests in pediatric development, dermatology and gastroenterology.
Dr. Salter was born locally at Hoag hospital but has been living and studying abroad and on the East Coast before returning to Southern California to practice medicine.
When not at work Dr. Salter enjoys running marathons, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children and dog.
